Broken dvd drive + JTAG

So my xbox DVD drive lens had stopped functioning properly, and can't play any games anymore (unreadable disc).I'm thinking what if I JTAG my xbox? Will it be able to play games again?

Yes, Jtag run games from usb. Unless your xbox usb port have problems, you should be able to play games. Check your xbox kernel version to see if it can be jtag or not.

If your xbox is a slim model, then no problem. Contact them for latest news on jtag, they're modders, they would know more
