AP2.5 sucks. bypass it now!

DO NOT update from microsoft site just yet, or u cant play backup of AP2.5 games!
right now, there are few method to play backup of games like ACB, or NFSHP.
method that work to play ACB, or AP2.5 (4 that i know of)

1- u have hitachi or samsung, both of this drive cant run AP2.5. just update dash and enjoy bakups. (better use also method 2 for save side purpose) note: this drive is build on old x360, they cant run AP2.5 protection even if it is told to run, resulting in it being disabled.
2- u have liteon or benq, u need to update 3 times, to xploit a weakness in update process
updates from kinect adv, animals finally from ACB disc.
3- mod ur power cable (in ur xbox) to have a on off button, this will enable a hot swap method.
(install ACB or Ap2.5 games on hdd, use the button, put diff not ap2.5 backup, press the button and play~)
4- wait for Ixtreme LT+

hope this helps u guys who wish for ACB~
ALL method works to bypass AP2.5. but use with ur own risk. i will not be held responsible for what ever damage done. please be careful and know what u doing!

btw black ops and fable 3 ap 2.5 does not turn on until specific time prolly.
at least for fable 3. since my black ops still running.

i hate ap2.5, because it wont let me play even an original ap2.5 games, since i have a spoofed drive. M$ with ap 2.5 is like saying, if ur drive is dead, buy a new x360. shame on them.

small infos: spoof, a process of flashing and making ur xbox think that a new replacement
drive that is inserted into ur xbox as the old drive it originaly came with.
usually this is done by people that have a broken drive (nothing last forever).

why must u spoof? 360's drive key and everything is fixed to be played on
that specific 360s, putting it in a diff 360 will render it useless. hence, the Need to Spoof.

Correct. This has been mentioned elsewhere as well. Currently Kinect games no AP 2.5...futurre Kinect games dunno lar.

best way to tell is to see the color of the wires of ur drive.
note that philips-benq and philips-liteon have the same tray.

open ur front faceplate. to do this, put ur finger or thumb inside the USB port hole,
and pull it open. there will be a hole and see what wires color u see inside the hole.

black n red would be Samsung
white n white would be philips-benq
yellow n yellow would be philips-liteon
cant see any wires because there i a plastic covering the hole would be Hitachi

for those who already updated to kinect dash , to bypass ap2.5 is

all modded console is mostly drive flash, ixteme.
buy from tech2 also will be same, because
its most simple and easiest. so they save cost,
and get more money.
if u want to buy a mod set, go for jtaged one.

to be able to do the bypass method by update,
u need to be on dash 9199. means havent update kinect before/
if u have updated to kinect dash before, u CANT use the bypass.

Why dont u try the hardware bypass method. it works.

i think it is a LiteOn... i think it's yellow wire...can't see properly...yellow and white quite hard to differntiate..my room's all yellowish light...torchlight also yellow...

Which bypass method is best for me?

I have an XBOX360, Falcon chipset, and has been brought to life from RROD via resoldering (hantar shop lah). Anyway, that would also giveaway that my set is modded, and I play 'backup' games :-p.

Anyway, Re: using kinect and the AP2.5 as discussed here, which method would you recommend me to use? The 3x dashboard update method, the LT+ or the power cable mod? My set is otherwise original as it came, and the DVD drive is still the same one since I got it (from the looks of it is a BENQ). But since the GPU has been replaced (or so I think, as mentioned by the shop that reballed my GPU), would I still be a candidate for LT+?

Honestly, of the methods given, the power cable hack is the most 'invasive' yet the safest as nothing really gets modded apart from a power cable. Hence sounds appealing.

Thoughts, anyone?
