Need to tweaks to play FIFA 12?

okay, i've just been to a nearby v'game store in klang to get a copy of fifa 12.
but there's a problem, the guy at the store tells me that i need to UPDATE my xbox to play fifa
as i recall, he said something about the drives and sending the console to the technician,
i already updated to the latest dash that can bypass ap2.5.
does anyone knows why and should i send my console?
and lastly, what does he mean by tweaking the drives??|
P/S : he told me that the overall price from rm80 to 200

ap2.5 is old news, prolly u have LT 1.1 or 1.9 at best.
u need to flash ur dvd firmware to Lt 2.0.
this is softmod, method of flashing ur box dvd drive to
a custom firmware which later can run backup games/

u NEED lt 2.0 to play latest games. as all of latest game is
in XGD3 format, ive update my console myself.
if u brave enuff u can do it urself, getting shop
to flash ur drive have a downside, which u need to
pay and pay and pay for updates. but also they didnt
give u ur DVD key, which is needed if u want to flash urself.

what is ur xbox ver. and what drive are u in btw?
