Where can I buy a modded XBox360+Kinect?

Hi all sifu and guru,

Where can I buy a good price modded Xbox360+Kinect?

BTW, what is the difference between the slim 4GB version and the fat version 250Gb?

I mean I can installed the games in the 4GB right? Only less games I can install at one time?

Also, when buying the modded Xbox360+Kinect, which version is the best? US, Jap or Asia? Since most of the copied iso are from us (right?), should we buy the US modded version?

Also, what is the MUST game for Xbox360 (not Kinect) - well, since I buy XBOX360, might as well play some of the good/excellent Xbox360 games...

I am play many PC games before, have no idea how is it to play the Xbox360 games like...

1) Pricing, check with TechTwo (bukanboss), Gamer's Solution (bernard moh) or Gamer's Hideout (Djinn). You can PM those guys at lowyat.net forum.

2) Slim has more functions like WIFI, Kinect Ready (can power Kinect using USB port, no need extras power) and looks sexier. 4GB of course much less storage than 250GB.

3) I suggest you buy NSTC/J Asian version. You can easily download NTSC/J compatible games. A lot of NSTC/U games can run on NTSC/J as well, just check the PlayAsia region compatibility elsewhere here in this forum.

4) Good games, too many to list.

Just buy a modded slim NTSC/J Asian version? And then I go download from gamestorrent right? Is that so simple? Why I still see many questions like how to install LT and things like that? Am I missing something? Damn, why MS makes it so difficult? PC so easy....

do we need 4gb or 250gb for modded console?
if i buy pirated game, i straight away play it from disc right?
do i need to copy it into console before play?
means 4gb will be more than enough if i just play pirated games right?

btw how much is a pirated game cost?

1) Yes, can play straight from disc.

2) Install to HDD is optional...but is good coz you'll have faster loading and reduce wear/tear on ur DVD drive.

3) 4GB can save games...but cannot install games. Enough if you don't plan to install.

4) RM 10 or less...depends on area.

Have u try to ask Bernard of gamer's solution? Last time i bought my XBOX Elite with 120GB modded...around RM 12xx only i think.

Bernard quoted me RM80 to update firmware...but i am not sure if that is consider "modding". There might or might not be some chip involved...if there's some chip, then can understand it's a bit more expensive...but RM400 seems like too much...

I'm thinking of selling off my xbox elite in exchange with new set of 4gb slim modded + kinect bundle. Another option is to keep my existing and still purchase 4gb slim + kinect bundle (unmodded) so I have option to choose either playing pirated or goes online via unmodded and purchase ori titles which I feel worth to buy and great for online gaming.

Still considering...might take a peep in Singapore this weekend for bargains.

I think the the 4gb slim + kinect is worth it. Keep ur modded XBOX for the offline games.

there is a brave soul dare to flash the new slim with LT+.
no LT+ is out for slim yet, but what the brave soul did,
is actually spoof slim drive with older drive with LT+.
it use tools such as tarablind, to get the drive key.
and then with the key, u can spoof it.
- get the slim key
- take a drive from a faulty xbox or something.
- flash the drive with SLIM key with LT+

problem is, the NEW dash detect drive spoofing,
means u spoof , u got ban~

- reports from some forum says, SLIM with spoof drive (MOD LT)
when update to lastest dash for ACB or NFSHP,
the drive will disable, and cant play any games.
u need to restore it to th eoriginal firmware.

- some reports also says spoof drive on SLIM and FAT.
when update dash, will get ban~

so the xbox slim modded we are buying from local shops all are using spoof drive?

To have 2 boxes because:

1. Slim box can go online because of unmod.
2. Can maintain the old box to test the pirated games and purchase ori title for slim if it's worth the money (more like a test drive machines).
3. Xbox Slim 4GB + Kinect bundle pricing quite tempting as better than buy Kinect separately (one of reason why I'm considering to purchase package).

How I wish if modded can play online so don't have to keep 2 boxes but then....

So most probably local shops are using olds drives w new xbox.
Then when slim lt+ comes out. Wat they wil do?

today I bought a kinect in singapore. the shop fella told me that to make sure my console is unmodded or else they can't guarantee that kinect will works in my console. i told them it's unmodded although it's a modded console as I believe it should works fine.

does anyone with modded console running kinects without any problems so far? I'm a bit doubt now hearing what the shop fella told me. I still do not have chance to tried it yet as i haven't go back to KL testing my kinect on my xbox.

Ok, just returned fm SIN trip yesterday and immediately test my kinect and it works perfectly on my console with "ahem" disk

Next thing is to get a separate new lcd for this purposes and enjoy the wonder of kinects.

Those shop fellas dunno anything at all....i haven't heard of anyone with modded XBOX can't run Kinect!

you have to understand. microsoft DID make things Homer Simpson easy. but they sure as hell dont make it easy for piraters.
